Interior Design Business Development Manager - Telecommute Available


ALine Studio is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The Manager will develop and implement strategy that will drive ALine’s visibility, new business, and shape the firm’s reputation. The Manager must have a background within the interior design/architectural/construction industry. Our ideal candidate will be experienced in business development/sales, a team player, a self-starter, an excellent communicator, strategic, and a problem solver. Candidate can choose to work on-site at our WeWork location (Brooklyn, NY) or remote within the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and lead marketing campaign activities to infiltrate new markets, drive new business efforts, and win new work.
  • Work closely with firm leadership in creating and implementing a strategic business development plan to position the firm with target clients.
  • Develop strategic short- and long-term marketing campaigns to support key business initiatives.
  • Manage all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating and closing.
  • Meet and/or speak with qualified prospects to learn more about their projects and tell them more about ALine Studio.
  • Plan and execute strategy and planning sessions.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for communicating our message in the market, including speaking engagements, conferences, etc.
  • Perform multiple marketing efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines.
  • Monitor and track business development activities.
  • Research clients, market trends, and background information associated with business development efforts in collaboration with marketing team and management.
  • Manage, update, and maintain project and client data in firm CRM.
  • Collaborate with principals, senior staff and other marketing team members in the writing, design, and implementation of marketing materials in alignment with brand standards.
  • Tasks may also include coordinating: events, public relations efforts, advertisements, materials for trade shows, content for speaking engagements, direct mail campaigns and award submittals.
  • Perform general marketing activities and/or administrative tasks, as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a marketing/business development position within an interior design/architectural/construction firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Sales experience with a history of overachieving targets in new business acquisition.
  • Existing network of industry contacts and relationships.
  • A strategic thinker, with a drive for quality and sales results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Principal Hospitality Interior Designer


ALine Studio is searching for an experienced and talented Principal Interior Designer with a successful track record on Hospitality Interior projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Provide strong leadership, organization and relationship management skills in all phases of the design process.

  • Review furniture and millwork shop drawings. Assist with answering RFIs and submittals during CA phase.
  • Measure and survey site conditions to produce as-built AutoCAD.
  • Identify trends and shifts in the hospitality interior design market.
  • Maintain a high standard of design in the hospitality group and be a guiding design voice in the firm.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in design of hospitality interiors projects.

Intermediate Interior Designer & Project Manager


ALine Studio is a Brooklyn based design firm that specializes in public space redesign in the NYC area. We are searching for a talented Intermediate Interior Designer/Project Manager to join our team and work on multi-family projects.

The ideal candidate would be a creative, self-motivated, and highly organized. We are looking for an intermediate candidate with the experience to step into the role of project manager. Project management is very important in this position. This position is based in Brooklyn and the candidate will be expected to work out of our WeWork office in Dumbo Heights. WeWork is a communal work space filled with startup companies of all industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to select finishes and materials, reviews shop drawings, create and managing F,F & E schedules and budgets for hospitality and residential projects.

Administrative Assistant/Executive Assistant - Telecommute


In this position, you will be supporting the marketing coordinator and the COO with various admin, marketing, operations, HR, and IT tasks (MOSTLY ADMIN TASKS).  You must be okay with taking on projects and assignments that are completely unfamiliar to you (Google will become your best friend in this job). You must also be okay with spending a lot of time working with spreadsheets and doing the same thing over and over again. For example, researching leads online and inputting data into a spreadsheet. This is a HUGE part of this position. Over time you will be trained on all aspects of the marketing coordinator’s position and you will learn a lot about marketing and business.

Position is full-time and work from home / remote. You will be expected to work during normal business hours (EST or CST business hours). Pay depends on experience.

Equipment Requirements:

  • Your OWN desk (we do not want you sharing desk with your roommate/spouse/etc). You need a dedicated desk/workspace, preferably in a separate room that is a dedicated office. (i.e. A living room is NOT a good office.)
