Project Description
ALine recently completed this serenity overhaul along the Hudson River in West New York, NJ. By removing the traditional, dark wood and softening the palette we transformed this buildings lobby, hallways, and amenity space. The highlights include:
The Lobby & Mailroom:
- Reconfigured package room, mailroom, and cart storage within undulating walls wrapped in plaster-look type 2 vinyl
- Built-in banquette seating
- Light cove for indirect lighting
- Airy chandelier
- Accents of wood at the portal
- Modern USPS-approved mailboxes
The Corridors:
- Carpet tiles with a blue accent color that meanders down the hall, mimicking the Hudson River proximity
- Vinyl wallcovering to add texture and lasting beauty
- Contrasting paint shades for the doors and trim to bring a burst of color that coordinates to the new scheme
- Custom ADA-compliant sconces at the doors
- New door chimes to create a modern look
- New signage to coordinate with the new scheme and finishes
The Amenity Space:
- A multi-functional space allowing for parties, work space, and meetings
- Faux fireplace to bring a cozy, warm feeling
- Updated, modern kitchen cabinetry
- Moveable furniture for flex use
